The same basic engine/trans is used in the twin carb 650's.\r\nRegarding values of classic cars and bikes: Trend lines are never straight - they have peaks and dips as they go. I don't see a significant drop overall.\r\nNo doubt as mentioned, as a generation ages out, there are fewer of those who cherish their old steeds driving prices.\r\nHowever, a new factor is entering the equation that's less dependent on nostalgia and more on practicality. People know how to keep pre-Y2K cars and bikes going long after the factories and dealers quit supporting them. The hyper-digitalized uber-complex machines sold today have a much worse chance of making that claim 20 years from now. Younger generations may have to go further back in time to find something they can keep on the road.\r\nThis phenomenon may very well bend the traditional car and bike collector curves.\r\nAll that said, BSA is the bargain brand among the Brit bikes.
