We don't know the real condition of the engine. It looks like something was mounted in the smugglers box and removed. Gas heater or a/c. The stamping on the engine by the temp sensor will be 911/07 for a USA T car if I recall. Any indication there? Compression, or leak down testing? Engine receipts? As far as the body and rust with no repaint I'd say maybe 15k, interior work on seats and pockets, etc.. maybe 5K, how's the Targa top and seals? Those seals are REAL expensive! Overall I'd say plan on 20k anyway from what I see. Even when its real nice driver quality, it is hurt by not just missing an E engine but no numbers type, and no MFI even though I prefer the Zeniths. Best carbs Porsche used on the 911 cars. Car was as advertised and presented. Easy seller to work with. Car arrived and not running as known. Had stripped to check body work/rust. Car had previous accident minor in rear end and will need a little work. Front fender replacement and will now replace both sides. Very little corrosion/rust, and clean in the hard spots. Weird hole cut through the firewall that will be welded. Frame and mechanicals all very good, better than expected. Proceeding on build with a replacement MFI engine which will be rebuilt with dual plug and higher torque. Trans original and will be rebuilt. Pure hot Rod build for driving and comfort.
