Not too shabby for 1991! As @Nikto said these Stealth TT's were \"just as fast/quick as Toyota Supra TT (300hp) , Mazda RX7 TT (255hp) and 300zx TT (300hp).\" **Only these Stealth and VR-4's had way more tech, and (in my opinion) were way, way, sexier!! As to the person who asked about parts availability: There are several places you can still buy parts from. #1 Mitsubishi (believe it or not) still has a ton of new parts still available, Chris from Rvenge performance is an expert on the drivetrain, and places like 3sx and a myriad of performance enthusiasts of this platform offer all kinds of upgrades and factory maintenance replacement parts. My only \"beef\" about these cars is they are much more difficult to work on than most other performance cars of the 90s (and I'm an ex-ASE certified Master tech for Chrysler). I specialize in them and have several of them making over 600whp (reliably) on engines where I've never, ever, removed the valve cover or oil pan. The 91-92's have 2 bolt mains and the 93 and up have 4 bolt mains, but to be honest, even the two bolt main engines are plenty stout. As far as comfort/ride...I've driven (extensively) Supras, RX-7's, and 300ZX's and these are far and away the most comfortable car of the bunch. The tech (such as electronically controlled suspension, cockpit adjustable exhaust, active aero (VR-4 models only), digital climate controlled air conditioning, etc... were so much nicer than those other models, it's not even a competition. These aren't brining the big $$ the RX-7 (255hp) or the Supras are...yet. Mostly because these cars are not as well known by the general public. Do yourself a favor if you've never driven one...and get behind the wheel some time. Great buy! I\u2019m sure you\u2019ll enjoy especially with the very rare red interior. Oil pressure on this one seems to be on the low side. One suggestion \u2013 be sure to check the oil pan bowl for dents before racking up any substantial mileage. Unwitting shops jacking the car up from the oil pan can cause low oil flow leading to premature crank/rod bearing failure. It\u2019s an easy fix to round the bowl back out or get a new undamaged pan if there\u2019s any issue. Picture 86 shows the bowl, and while its tough to tell, it looks a bit out of round to me. If not due to a damaged bowl, it could be just a less than optimum oil weight; for that I'd recommend Rotella T6. If pressure is still low, then would have to look at the oil pump or pressure sensor.
