When Jeron shipped car #19 to me, they used a stiff, heavy cardboard box, with the car surrounded by styrofoam peanuts in plastic bags. The weight would have been about 50 lbs, and the dimensions were about 45\"x36\"x35\". And I picked up the display case in Boothbay Harbor ME (I commissioned it) and brought it home in a van to MA.\r\n\r\nSo, unless someone can pick them up, new boxes will have to be created. Bring a Trailer gave me the following strong advice: the buyer is responsible for the shipping -- (1) I can and will help find viable packers ad shippers as requested, but (2) I should not pack them myself (liability and, although I think my skills are good, this situation calls for professionals). Detailed discussions between the winner and me will be needed before specifics of the shipping are defined, so (3) it's best to not speculate until the auction has finished.\r\n\r\nOther than to say, you know the size and weight of the car and can use that to make some inquiries and extrapolations. The display case will be maybe a foot more in each direction and should weigh about the same as the car, but the glass in the display case may present a bigger challenge. The person packing it wrapped it in, maybe a 6 mil plastic sheet and then sprayed the wrapped shape with the type of insulation foam that hardens after a few minutes. The foam-covered part was then placed in a cardboard box and any remaining spaces were filled with spray foam.
