Many of them were over 400,000 miles. They almost always said that the cars had given them no trouble, had original transmissions and engines, had regular maintenance and oil changes, etc. Brakes were replaced many times in that period, along with other wear items, and often AC compressors and alternators around 200,000 miles. They liked the CV's because they were reliable, inexpensive to maintain, comfortable, could carry 4 people, and had big trunks for luggage.
