Whilst having been an avid follower of BaT these past couple of years I am always very impressed by the depth of knowledge and enthusiasm of the community. Superb! Anyway on to the Quattro. Having been intrigued by BRP 223X's unique history and with the intention of doing some historic rallying, I bought the car in 2016 from a family friend that had had it since 1995 and who had competed in numerous historic rallies during his ownership. I then took part in that year's RallyFest at Cholmondeley Castle which was part of the 2016 WRC Wales Rally GB. Since then I have been rather focused on competing in the historic road racing cars in my collection ('60 Austin Healey Sebring Sprite, '62 Corvette C1, '67 Marcos 1600GT and '33 pre-war Austin single seater) and as a result the Quattro has not had as many outings as I had hoped or indeed it deserves. Therefore sadly decided it needs a new home preferably with someone that will use it as it deserves to be used...sideways, popping and banging in Quattro's unique turbocharged 5 cylinder way and kicking up a cloud of dust on some historic rally!
