The seller is a neighbor of mine. We met when I saw him wrenching on his cousins N54 powered bmw, and I approached him because I have a 535 wagon and know the platform well. I drove my cousins new 2018 911 S three weeks later, by coincidence and I actually preferred the 996. The newer Porsche was much louder, flashier, and more aggressive off the line. The 996 felt much smaller, more analog, and nimble. And the powerband and speeds of the 996 were actually usable on public roads without putting others in danger (my perception at least.) Cool car.
