Could be an E. I've been restoring Brit bikes for the past 40 or 50 years. BSA, Triumph, Ariel, Velocette, Vincent. Basically I address what needs to be fixed for a safe reliable machine. This one was pretty easy. It came with good compression and amazingly the Lucas Electronic Ignition works flawlessly. Front brake needed a new master and it needed an oil pressure switch. Clean out the oil system, disassemble and hydroststically clean the carbs. Starts first kick (most of the time). Does not leak oil. Runs good. Pulls strong. It is a little clod blooded but once warmed up, no problems. Everything works as it should. A beautiful machine that will not disappoint.
