It's a 72 Midget in a non-original color with an aftermarket interior kit - like most sprite/midgets it has probably been painted a half dozen times. These are inexpensive, fun, toss-able cars, not concurs show cars. But it is a nice complete midget with the typical issues all sorted (all the rubber seems to be newish, the plastic lenses are not cracked, air intake is in tact, proper SU carbs and correct air cleaners, new exhaust, little rust, correct painted wire wheels with the octagon knock-offs). Only question i would have is why is there an incorrect speedo when used Smiths are still readily available? Given how good it looks, I am curious if the brake test button and light works? They rarely do, so if this one does it, is is unique! BTW, I have owned my 72 midget since 1976, and I worked at Motorhead Ltd, a Spridget specialist outside DC.
