The car has been kept in a heated garage since I have owned it, and I have done my best to care for and maintain it. Of course, it\u2019s not perfect, but for 28 years and 28,000 miles I would rank it amongst the best I have seen. I would also like to emphasize the fact that I replaced the original paper head gaskets with multi-layer steel gaskets. There was a lot of chatter at the Viper Club of America when I purchased the car that the original Gen I gaskets were prone to failure. After I noticed a drip or two of antifreeze in 2013, and with guidance from Chuck Tator (the Viper Wizard), I replaced them. As it turns out it was actually the thermostat housing gasket but I decided to continue and replace everything. It has been perfect since and the new owner will be able to rest easy. Lastly, I never drove the car in the rain so I did not care that the wipers did not function correctly. The drivers side actually works fine but the passenger side lags and they lock up.
