This vehicle was almost certainly flooded as it was located in baton rouge during katrina and Rita. The car was immediately never driven again for 20 years and then sold for auction. This is further evidenced by the wheels which all have salt damage across the entire surface, in photo 70 rust is clearly visible and the covers were not removed for inspection. Inside the gas cap you can see where some type of residue has been sitting for some time despite the car suggested to have been sitting in storage. This is further evidenced by the warranty for carpeted floor mats lasting ten years that the original owner did not decide to take advantage of, however, they have been replaced for unknown reason by current owner and still have white crusty residue on both mats. Mildew smell could be the cause for replacement. Floodwater is much worse than rain as it contains decaying organic matter and bodies and fecal matter and toxic waste which creates a long term mold hazard. The front covers underneath are all speckled with white as well possibly crusted salt.
