He and the owner of the steamship company, a Mr. Reiss, had a good chuckle over that! My grandfather was never one to contradict something that may prove to his benefit if no real harm was done.\r\n\r\nUnfortunately, the Bentley was sold in 1993 by my father to help pay for my sister\u2019s wedding. It's interesting to note that the R-Type standard steel saloons such as this Bentley on BaT performs and drives 85 percent as well as the Bentley R-Type Continental Fastback which are million dollar cars today. The Bentley R-Type Continentals were aluminum coach built bodies by H J Mulliner.
