It grips like hell and it is the most powerful STI coming from factory. The chassis bracing and tensioning combined with the stiff suspension makes it track ready. The S209 is special in many unique ways and probably the last special EJ powered Subaru. It's no 22B, but it is the most significant Subaru since.
