The story that has been shared in the family over the years is that Don Aronow, founder of cigarette boats, had ordered the car to be delivered to Bill Mitchell to be modified but before delivery he offered it to my wife\u2019s grandfather, who had another BMC car that he had built as daily driver and to tow his other race cars. He was truly a pioneer of the BAT concept, towing his race cars with a BMC modified 1980 Malibu. \r\n\r\nHer grandfather wrote up a summary of the car before passing, including the story with Don that i have attached.
