The Town & Country model continued but was only available in a convertible. In 1948 due to supply limitations of the mahogany plywood utilised & the costs, especially of repairs, the Di-Noc trim was introduced. As mentioned in the write-up, it was slightly darker than the original wood. 1949 was the last year for a Town & Country convertible but in 1950 there was a Newport Town & Country hardtop available. This model continued to have the white ash trim but the sides did not have the Di-Noc. Also in 1950 on the mentioned model, disc brakes were standard as on the Crown Imperial. This example is beautiful & hopefully it will find a new home,.
