(I had an '88 in Light Sandalwood Metallic with tan cloth interior.)\n\nThe nice thing about these was that a lot of the Fox Mustang stuff bolted right on. Bought mine used in '90, and proceeded to go with 15\" wheels, subtle lowering springs, and Koni shocks in all *six* positions. After that, the other great upgrade I did was to replace the long-legged factory rear end gear (I think it was a 2.73) with a 3.27. It was all kinds of loaded. Digital gauges, trip computer, graphic EQ, etc. I dropped it an inch, swapped the front bumper and hood for a turbo coupe look, swapped the intake plenum out, put in an electric fan, changed the rear gearing, and popped on a flowmaster 40 series. It wasn't fast, but it was quick enough, handled well, and was incredibly comfortable to drive long distances.
