This is not only the first GT4 RS Clubsport on BAT, but it will also be by far the lowest priced 4RS CS in the country due to miles. This car has a solid maintenance history from a well known and respected race team in Germany. This car was dedicated for endurance racing as one of several 4RS\u2019s in their fleet. So while it has had minor items such as bumper and side seal repaint/replacements, there have been no serious accidents with the car. Rear quarters, front and rear main clips are original. The condition of the car shows better than the mileage. Anyone is welcome to come to VIR to look over the car. Just DM me for scheduling details. I am also willing to remove the wrap for the winning bidder with a deposit prior to sale completion if preferred. The gallery does include photos and video prior to the wrap last year. \n\nMaintenance logs are included in the photo gallery. The logs are in km but the dash has been switched to miles. The manual recommends rebuilds for the engine at 100 hours. Cups in the amateur environment very often run 110-120 hours with 8500rpm redline before rebuild. The 4RS comes from the factory with a 9k redline. At 67 hours I adjusted the dash to 8500rpm redline to preserve the engine and extend the service life. If you look at the power curve for these engines, that\u2019s where power starts to fall off anyway. Currently the engine is estimated at 75 hours. The gearbox is at 5611km, so still a long service life remaining. \n\nI have an option for a new allocation which is the only reason for the sale. If you are looking for a well maintained 4RS Clubsport in the same range as GT4 Clubsports, this is it. There are certainly low mile 4RS\u2019s on the market for $250k-300k if that\u2019s what you are looking for instead of this car.\ud83d\ude0a\n\nThis car is still in stock factory trim aside from the dash redline adjustment (which is easy to convert back to 9k rpm with PIWIS.) The dark carbon diveplanes currently on the car in the primary picture are aftermarket. The OEM are also included. Those are the more yellowish carbon version you see on the car prior to the livery being added. The passenger seat is included but the VBox is not. \n\nThere is an entertaining Vbox video in the galley of Coby Shield turning a 1:52 on 10ish heat cycle Michelin scrubs at VIR at the end of last season! The chassis has 15k miles. I converted the dash to miles after I imported the car in Oct. The logs in the gallery are in km. The replacement engine has a little over 10k km which is under 7k miles. When I imported the car the engine had 8849km with 67 hours.\r\n\r\n@larry.beck many of the 2022 cars had engine replacements, I'd even go as far to say a majority. The initial PDK tune was overrevving engines on downshifts. So this contributed to a ton of early failures. Porsche honors their commitment on cars with engine replacements under warranty for premature failures. So to be honest, an early failure is beneficial IMO. You'll notice the invoice in the gallery for both the engine and gearbox replacements. Logs in the gallery also show the running km on components. My suggestion would be to refer the listing to a mechanic you trust who is familiar with Clubsports to review the pics of the car for you. It's very easy to tell from the photos in the gallery that this car has not sustained any major damage. Due to being an aluminum chassis you can't hide the damage caused by big impacts. The front tub and inside the rear corners are the areas where you can spot damage on any car that has had significant contact. I intentionally loaded pics in the gallery with the bumpers and rear lights removed so anyone experienced with these cars is able to view the condition of the tub to verify it's a clean chassis. I am more than willing to remove panels again if someone wants to have their mechanic come to VIR for an inspection. \r\n\r\nYou can see the repairs that were done in the front carbon fenders in the bare chassis pics in the gallery. But better than nothing I guess. First is the tire rub on the lower passenger door. The next 3 show the new front bumper (original was the endurance package with lights which I didn\u2019t need), as well as the damage in the carbon fenders that were repaired. The last pic shows the new driver side sill before paint. The passenger side was done as well but I don\u2019t have a full image of that. The side sill is a cheap plastic $900 or so part. Invoice in gallery. That was for the engine and PDK fluids. I\u2019ve only run the car about 1 hour this season since I\u2019ve been mainly focused on racing my e36. I keep the car stored at VIR with Quantum Speed Works. They prep the car for each event as well as provide trackside support. They service about 8 other GT4 CS\u2019s as well. \r\n\r\nWith only about 1k miles out in the car since import there really hasn\u2019t been much to do. I had a ton of prep done as part of my purchase of the car so there wouldn\u2019t be much work required. It\u2019s mainly just been standard track prep and brakes. With hitting 160+ on the back straight at VIR the car definitely consumes brakes. My prior GT4 comp used 1 set of rotors and 2 sets of pads over 1000 miles. Compared to my 997.1 GT3, it is VERY easy to drive...and drive quickly. As it was my first day in the car, I was a bit cautious, especially on the brakes which are awesome. \r\n\r\nMy only suggestion for the next owner is to put some sort of anti-reflective coating on the inside of the rear window and/or paint all of the white surfaces in the back matte black.
