A 1959 Silver Cloud I can be considered the best and final development of the classically perfect six cylinder Rolls-Royce engine. But personally l would prefer a '53 RHD R Type with the manual transmission, but that's just personal preference. \r\n\r\nFor those whining about the photos, aw c'mon. The man is here to sell his car, not entertain the peanut gallery. Therefore the real purpose of the photos is to let a serious bidder know if he should personally, or professionally inspect the car so that he can bid intelligently - the car looks very good from what I can see, but these cars were so well built that they continue running with all sorts of things wrong!\r\n\r\nNo one's asked about compression or oil pressure, over heating issues, the brakes or front end and steering!\r\n\r\nAnd even if you do ask, unless you know the seller, are you comfortable that answers are credible?\r\n\r\nLow compression and/or oil pressure could mean a $35,000 engine overhaul. Or maybe not. How you gonna tell from a distance? \r\n\r\nSame thing with excessive play in the steering wheel. Could be a steering box adjustment or a $15,000 front end rebuild. \r\n\r\nWho knows?
