Also I believe this might have been one of the first cars built using differing structural metal components designed to react in a manner that would keep the occupants safer in the event of a crash similar to modern Volvo's . Also the seat bottoms are removable so they can be switched to even the wear. I love the side opening hood and the clam shell trunk(frunk). I have restored/refurbished numerous cars but the Scorpion attracted some of the most annoying tire kickers ever. One guy wanted to put a small deposit on the car and have me hold it for 6 months until his son graduated so they could do a road trip across the country. In addition the young man who bought the car against my advise, was too large to fit comfortably in it. These cars were built for Italians in the seventies and not for modern ever expanding Americans not to mention the seats only go back so far and that's it. Where these cars in stock configuration are not fast by todays standards, you hardly notice it because of its size and ground clearance plus you're having fun and you will probably never see another at a car show.
