Resembled a candy apple red paint, and was formulated as a racing 2 stroke oil. But honestly I couldn't tell you what brand it was. It also had a smell that was different from other oils. Every since my first Harley in 1974, I haven't mixed any more 2 stroke fuel. But I wouldn't mind getting back into it. I had a '71 Bultaco and ran petroleum based oil. The mix is around 20:1 with petroleum base. But I changed to BelRay synthetic when it came out during the 70s. I ran that in my Bultaco, 1977 Suzuki RM250B and 1978 Maico 450 Magnum. \n\nI ran Belray at 40:1 or 50:1. All three bikes ran perfect with no loading, fouled plugs and minimal carbon buildup.
