My ownership was serendipity. I was waiting for an engine rebuild on another car and saw a Scorpio pop up for sale. Needing a vehicle for travel and the at the right price I grabbed it. It had 95K miles on it and I put another uneventful 50K on it before I sold it. Brought my newborn son home in that car. Most comfortable seats I have ever sat in except for a new Lincoln. Fantastic road car and I could get 30+ MPG on the highway and 23 MPG around town. You could put a 7' Christmas tree in the back and close the hatch. Only major item that failed was the steering rack which was common. Trans was rebuilt before I purchased mine.\r\n\r\nWhoever buys this Scorpio is going to get one of the greatest cars ever built IMHO.\r\n\r\nGLWTS.
