The car was just paint corrected and ceramic coated by a detail shop here in Cincinnati prior to the auction going live. \r\n\r\nThe service records for this car date back to 06/30/1989. The car was delivered new 06/23/1989. 03/15/1990, the car was taken to Capitol Imported Cars in Columbus, OH with 2 noted areas of haze in the roof paint. The car had 6,339 miles at the time of this service. A district service manager for Porsche inspected the car and determined that there was acid rain damage to the clear coat on the roof. The roof was buffed but the haze would return within a few weeks. Some of the cursive writing on the service records is difficult to make out, but it appears that the roof and doors were painted and blended to remedy the acid rain damage in August of 1990 at Capital Imported Cars when the car had 10,723 miles on it. All of the paint work appears to have been covered under warranty based on these records. \r\n\r\nThere are no other records with the car indicating any other paint work aside from touching up minor rock chips at a detail shop in 2015.
