The condenser appears to be AWOL as well. \n\nThe good news is that everything aft of the firewall is likely still intact, so a competent A/C specialist could get the system up and running without the hassle of starting from scratch. I suspect the 4spd really perks up the performance.\r\n\r\nBuild quality was suspect... the plastic started disintegrating back in 1982 and it simply wasn't economical... 15 mpg highway was the norm. The factory AM/FM radio simply died one day... the ignition module... a drum brake... the rack/pinion leaked to death... yea, some stupid things failed. I know, it was 1976! Toss in the mean spirit of your average high schooler, and you get a picture of the subtle torture I went through!\r\n\r\nI do think the wagon looked better than the coupe. I remember seeing a 1980 Pacer wagon, down in South Florida... this thing was LOADED. Plush leather seats, power everything... it was a bulbous little Lincoln!!!\r\n\r\nI notice this one is missing its air box. The heater is gone!
