What you are looking at is basically a Chevy Volt in pickup form. It's an electric truck with a range extending gas engine that acts as a generator to charge the battery on the move so you can drive most anywhere. Let's hear what @seller has to say but if my memory is correct they got about 50 miles on electric before you needed the gas engine, much like the Volt.\n \nAs I recall, they were promising 100mpg and I believe the range was something like 500 miles. Bob Lutz led the company at the time these were being built, Jay Leno did a segment on them and a whole range of fleet operators were signed on to acquire their conversions. You can\u2019t really lock it into \u201cEV only mode\u201d your best way to achieve using a majority battery is to properly have it charged up all the way if you are concerned about the generator running. The generator will automatically run when the battery is depleted to 20% to maintain the charge. If you have a short trip under 50 miles you will most likely just be running on just electric.\r\nThe generator can come on randomly but it\u2019s not really random because it\u2019s configured to achieve the best possible range. I\u2019ve driven this truck on all electric on short trips without the generator coming on and passed cars doing so without any issues at all. \r\n2. The truck runs flawlessly as it should. Every component is intact and there is absolutely no odd noises or ticks and definitely not any sounds of loose bolts rattling around. That would be a real concern and this would not be listed if that were the case.\r\n3. Wheels are brand new have less than 3k miles on them. \r\n4. No damage perfect as is, bed liner was added to compliment & complete the look/enhance ability of the truck without worrying about scratching or denting the bed.\r\n5. Same answer of 2. Truck works absolutely perfect everything works as it should. It even has an amazing sound system! \r\n6. Minimum surface rust is all it has on the EV conversion frame the frame of the truck doesn\u2019t have any rust. This truck has never seen snow or any salt and hopefully it never does because this is such a special vehicle. \r\n7.
