If properly maintained these are superb vehicles. Despite the rumors, spare parts are plentiful and easy to source with the exception of the rubber portion of the roof rails. The active suspension on these was way ahead of it's time and requires studying to fully understand its potential. The galvanized body does a great job of keeping the rust away and any undercarriage rust can be removed with a wire wheel. I fully intend to drive mine for another 300K miles and then if necessary, replace the engine. Volvo didn't brag about it's cars' performance back in 04 but left it up to the owners to figure it out for themselves. Massively underrated cars and mine now at almost 20 years old always turns heads and gets positive comments from passers-by. There's not many of these cars left and they are true wolves in sheep's clothing.
