The chassis & engine compartment pictures are not the greatest, but I don't see any real rust concerns. It really just looks like the car needs a good detail cleaning under hood as well as the leather. I have a Dodge 600ES Turbo Convertible sister to this car and have kept it clean it's whole life. This one just looks like a typical car that nobody ever took the time to occasionally clean the engine compartment or underbody. I'd like to have it to go with my 600ES, but already have too many vehicles and a won't so pleased wife due to a previous purchase. I'd just get this one and detail it up. As far as the windows go, you just need to remove them, clean the brush contacts, remove the old grease & re-grease them. Or they might need new kidney bean cams in the motor gear mechanism. Sometimes these kidney beans get jammed up due to dried out grease. With this car having been in Arizona for a long time, the heat will dry out the window track grease and gum it up. I purchased a Dakota RT from Arizona and had both door windows separate from the regulator track mechanism due to the dried out goo. Probably won't really cost you much other than time if you're handy at working on your own vehicles. The first surprise was that it doesn't have an American engine; that power comes from a little Mitsubishi motor. It's underpowered but it isn't an economy car because the little Japanese motor is working pretty hard at 65 miles per gallon on straight and level pavement. It's noisy and breezy inside with the top and windows up, and the back seat is for kids under 5 or amputees. Other than that, it's still considered a collector item with this few miles and the distinction of having been the only square-bodied 80's Chrysler with a rice-burner engine and fake wood. I kept mine for a year and traded it in on a Jeep; from the frying pan, into the fire. Mid-80's Jeeps gulped petrol, leaked like a sieve in rain and rattled like conga lines of tin-men dancing to Tejano music. Cheer up; it's going to skyrocket the last 5 minutes!
