I purchased the car from the daughter in 2014 and promised to honor her dad if I ever showed it. It was about 3/4 finished when I decided to have the original builder help finish this amazing build. Really brought back a lot of fond memories.....\nI had a '31 Vicky that I spent 2 + years re doing... new Corvette crate 350, TCI chassis, 9\" Ford rear, 350 turbo with a high stall converter. Every nut and bolt in the chassis and suspension was mirror polished SS as was the front drop axle. The top was chopped 2.5\".... lot of similar stuff as you have here, Vintage Air, Walker radiator, Tea's seats, Locar shifter and knobs, Dakota digital dash, custom SS exhaust. I did bob up the rear fenders several inches. Frenched in tail lights similar to yours. After 2 years of going to the NSRA shows, I sold it in Syracuse ( 1994, or 1995). $38k and it was always an award winner.... geez. My wife figured me out..... I liked the project, and got bored just going around to the shows and sitting in the parking lots drinking beer and talking about the build.....
