This car was destined to be the 2nd-gen Ferrari California, but was eventually scrapped to make way for the turbo car. It is the original factory engine for the year make and model advertised. \r\n\r\nThere is some minor touch up paint that was done to the exterior of the vehicle to cover a couple of nicks and scratches. There has not been any significant cosmetic repairs made to the vehicle. \r\n\r\nThe sensor wiring was damaged by what appeared to be rodents chewing on them. So, the subject wiring was replaced as needed. As a result of some health issues, the vehicle was not used for some time. Inadvertently, the battery ran dead and some of the sensors would not reset at the time the vehicle was taken in for a smog testing. I took it to a mechanic. He made the necessary repairs/ adjustments before having it smog checked, and all is fine. I have been driving the car periodically for the last three months and have had 0 issues. \r\n\r\nThe plastic \u201cbuttons\u201d that hold the trunk liner in place have been ordered and should be delivered within the next few days and then the liner will stay secure. An insignificant issue. I just didn\u2019t have all the buttons to hold the trunk liner. \r\n\r\nThe tires have less than 2,500 miles on them so there is plenty of tread life remaining.\r\n\r\nI have not detected an engine noise in the last few weeks, not sure what you are hearing (response to Ruth 123, Harun) or what the cause of that was.
