All the tell tale items are there from the builds as I remember them to be. What is not original, or same as, are:\r\nScrews on front bumper\r\nSide graphics (This car should have had blue on the sides and could have been delivered with them in the trunk if it was requested)\r\nGold 302 and Racecraft suspension decals are correct (never understood that with blue side stripes)\r\nFord Motorsport decals missing from the rear 1/4 windows\r\nDash emblem missing (same as rear deck emblem)\r\nSCCA Champion wreath decal is missing.\r\nRear bumper numbers were never installed on these cars\r\nDash Plaque is homemade. (OG was a brushed aluminum look and engraved with black filler)\r\nSteering wheel looks like it was replaced. The OG wheels had Momo stamped in the aluminum and not embossed in the leather.\r\nFloor mats are wrong logo. (These are all Saleen sells now.)\r\nWrong Saleen window decal (This one is from a later model) which is odd because you can still buy the old logo version.\r\nStereo had an EQ and OG stuff was made by Pioneer\r\nWheels are the ones that were optional\r\nfront led lights in lower front bumper cover are not original.\r\n\r\nYes, there were lots of fake Saleen Mustangs and for good reason...if you wanted to buy the parts, you could easily make your own as everything was pretty much out of the Ford performance catalog, could be sourced at general vendors or you could simply buy them from the Saleen Performance Parts outlet as everything other than the rear end gear was bolt on. Unfortunately, the worst part of the car was the Flo-fit seats. Recaro knock offs that were hard as rock, but back in the day, they were the seat look to have.\r\n\r\nIronically, a fairly rare car was the \"California Special\" they made out of a handful of 1990-1993 Mustang GT's. Mine was one of them and they were basically like the LX Saleen conversions but done on the GT body and without changing the rear end gearing. You could piecemeal the car and go full tilt or mild keeping the stock seats.
