After researching for many years , I believe aprox- 600 were produced in 1957 and Aprox - 1800 produced for 1958 & 59. Best options are the inside roof mounted radio , and self winding clock that would go in center of steering wheel so every time the wheel is turned the clock is winding . I had both options in my truck, and I believe I still have 1 in the box.BTW , the 57 molding is different on 57 vs 58 &59. Pretty sure it's not the original engine though. The engine that's in there now is a Poly, probably a 318. If the hood emblem is correct, it was a V8 truck from the factory. Don't see a pic of the data plate. The original V8 would have been a 315 Spitfire or single rocker Poly. A completely different animal, even though they look similar. This engine is likely out of a later truck or car because the original V8's in Dodge trucks from this era used a \"high block\" water pump set-up. That's why the fan sits so low in comparison to the radiator. The 318 is a good engine though, and much easier to find parts for than the older engines. Also the four barrel intake shown is a good piece and hard to find. It\u2019s been sitting for a couple years. I put a new battery in and fresh gas, and it fired up like it was ran yesterday. Didn\u2019t notice any unusual noises when I drove it. Power steering is leaking a little. It did want to wander a little at higher speeds. It also tends to want to die when put in gear after warmed up. I drove it a couple miles and stopped a few times and it stayed running the whole time. Probably needs a tune up or carb adjustment, but always starts right back up.
