His technique is without peer. He is in his late eighties now and comes to his shop most days of the week to hammer and mold metal like no other. He works nowadays because he is needed for his artistry. He doesn\u2019t suffer fools. His work is in metal and only used plastic filler for the final thousands if an inch. I once brought him a rear fender off my Morgan Super Sport that had been flattened to only two inches, basically accordioned. He gave it back to me the next day, polished aluminum with the instructions to give two coats of primer, sanding between coats and then I could shoot it black to match the other fenders. It came out perfect. Jay Leno did a feature on his Austin Healy that you can find on you tube. Arnold\u2019s cars have won Best in Show at Pebblebeachconcours, Monterey Motorsports Reunion (Huffaker E-Type) , Quail , etc. If a car was repaired or modified by Arnold you can be assured that it was done to the highest standard. These cars ride low and tend to get rammed into stuff like parking blocks. Judging by the condition of the end plates where the sway bar mounts are, those have been replaced already. It's hard to tell if the holes on the driver's side frame rail are rust or just cracks.
