I read that the factory AC was barely enough to keep the car comfortable in its original form which is why I wanted to upgrade to a more modern compressor and vintage air unit behind the dash. It has been done, there are other builds that document this and it was about $2000 in parts. It has the modern fuse panel, the windshield wiper controls, headlight controls, turn signals/flashers, window switches, radiator fan controller and ignition switch upgrade. The instruction manuals for each are included in the photos in the original listing. For others reading this, I encourage you to read and learn at https://www.pantera-electronics.com/ what was upgraded and why. This was a labor intensive process and is done on this car. I am also including the original components that were removed which have been bagged up for storage. \r\n\r\n@starrpainting The engine was freshened up before I took ownership of the car when the previous owner thought about getting it on the road again but did not want to complete the project. It is the original block and heads (numbers pictured in the original post) but it was sent to a local machine shop and rebuilt since it sat for so long. I was told they did not bore it but just honed and freshened everything up. I know the shop that did the work and he had paper records when it had been done in storage but was unable to locate them for me to include here. \r\n\r\n@Sebring I bought the car in April 2023, it had been stored since the 80s and I started the restoration which we completed in August 2023. I tried to fix during the drive but there was no good place to pull over so I abandoned my attempt until we got home. The gauges work but are somewhat erratic as these old Vegilias can be. The Ammeter no longer functions since high current no longer runs through it with the Pantera Electronics modernization of the ignition switch. It can be a fire hazard if left operating as it gets hot, relays are used instead as part of the Pantera Electronics board. \r\n\r\n@BZN Yes, this car has all the factory exhaust in place still. Headers and mufflers, it sounds very 70s. Unmolested in that regard. I thought about upgrading it but there is something special about it sounding stock.
