It's a very solid truck overall other than the minor flaws in the paint and some very minor rust issues that would easily be corrected. The engine runs great has good power doesn't smoke and run smooth. The 5-speed trans shifts flawlessly & the clutch works really nice also and don't even get me started on the sound of the racing beat header with good sounding muffler... I wouldn't have hesitated jumping in it and driving it 300 miles to get back home. I have two rotary truck (projects) myself and this is by far the nicest one I've seen in the last 15 to 20 years that I've been looking. Being a truck it got beat and uncared for and sold for a low price.\nYour questions.\nYes \u2026buzzer at 7k , Yes hitachi 4bbl, Under 10 sec 0~60 ? Yes easily, if the hitachi is set up right, truck is lighter than any of the cars with a13b only in the rx4 /cosmo. Dash treatment is bits and gauges from rx4/Cosmo with now never been seen amp gauge. 29k miles shown, probably a roll over from 100, but no fear if driven and fed correctly the 13b will continue. Run ethanol free or hitachi will fail. Suspect a different trans installed due to shifter height and clean bell housing and white paint marks on drive shaft to diff. 13b has Racing Beat header but not entire system to bumper. Brake cables rubbing on exhaust? Battery box , location unique to this truck , looks ok. Got original tool kit and jack behind the seat. A lot of this truck is not original, but good luck finding one. Glade to see the tail gate logo looking good , that alone is worth the investment as you pass slower piston cars.
