This is not a restored car, it is 70 years old and has some surface rust on the chassis, these cars have quite sturdy chassis, to be expected. The valve seats are probably not hardened, they are just fine given the mileage and the speed these cars are driven at these days. You cannot judge the condition of the wood without taking the panels off no matter what anybody tells you. The wood floors are easily replaced. The sills under the running boards look ok. This car appears to be a decent driver that hasn't been tarted up over the years which in my eye is a benefit.
