It works perfectly. The exterior seal was just replaced and, while the sunroof was disassembled to installed the seal, the sliders were thoroughly cleaned and properly greased. \r\n\r\nAC works perfectly. It had a leak in one of the adapters that were previously installed when it was first converted to R134. I just put new adapters, flush the system, and filled it up. This was done about a month ago it still blows as cold as the day I filled it up.\r\n\r\nI have not tried the rear defroster actually. I'll try tomorrow morning and update you on that. My 89 Jetta Coupe I swapped to single rounds but ended up going back to Aero's pretty quickly and my 91 Jetta Carat I went with a set of smoked Aero E-Codes. Quad rounds to me are reserved for 16v GTI's, but since this is a 16v GLI I suppose it gets a pass. \r\n\r\nThinking back on all my MK2's I think I have had every factory headlight option at one point or another, the tough one to find back in the day were the Rallye lights since it requires a radiator support, grill and headlights that were never offered in the US. They were pricey back then, I am sure they are even more now. \r\n\r\nI keep telling myself I will get another MK2 in the future, I just need the garage space and my wife to get on board.
