It's an absolutely spectacular car to drive and of all the Messerschmitts I've driven (which is quite a few), it's the most solid I've driven. It felt like it was built yesterday.\r\n\r\nDavid is a pillar of the microcar community and has been heavily involved in the hobby for decades. He's a master machinist and is the kind of person you'd want to buy a car from because you know it had been taken care of and anything he couldn't find he could make it himself - often better than NOS or any reproduction available. \r\n\r\nIf you've been wanting a Messerschmitt but have been wary of dealers with high prices passing off shoddy restorations or big auctions with little info, then you've come to the right car. This is the one to get.
