Basically, a little old lady owned the car since 1969, and I have the paperwork to prove it. It's always been garaged and well maintained. Yes, the original color was TT1, Meadow green metallic. It had been repainted in that green like 10 years ago, and was poorly done. Half the paint flew off during a power wash! I chose to repaint it in a color I like, which is Turbine Bronze Metallic, an original 1968 Chrysler color. I did it right, by removing all the chrome trim, then had it painted with a 2 stage basecoat/clearcoat. It shows better than original. I also pained under the hood, the trunk, and the door jambs. I've seen and ridden in it many times. The color is stunning. These (cloudy day) photos don't do it justice. Crowds love this car and compliment the color at car shows. He is a Mopar fanatic, and took excellent care of this car, lovingly restoring it over the last few years. He spent much time and money sourcing new old stock on many of the hard to find and expensive suspension, brake, interior, and other components. The streering wheel recast cost a small fortune. Whomever gets this car is getting a time capsule, and probably one of the best '68's available on the market, or extant for that matter. Even the door weatherstripping looks new, and is supple to the touch. You'd not be able to recreate the quality of this car without losing a ton of money, so I'd say it's a great value.
