I purchased the exhaust as an NOS piece, must have been misidentified. Nonetheless it sounds nice and performs well. Air filter is a personal choice. Haven\u2019t noticed the age of the hoses, but the car doesn\u2019t have any leaks so it wasn\u2019t a concern. There is no rust at the suspension mounting points, I don\u2019t have lift access anymore but I will try to get some photos illustrating this. This has always been a loved and maintained car. Additionally in terms of carfax history it did have a few minor incidents in its past ownership, the repairs were done before me and I haven\u2019t noticed any irregularities. Given how easy it was up until a few years ago for these to get written off, the fact it wasn\u2019t should speak to that. The warp mentioned is very minor and on the passenger fender plastic panel, it\u2019s shown in the photos. I believe this is an excellent SPG for someone to drive the heck out of and make better as they enjoy it, should they like, it presents quite well as is. I\u2019m trying to be as transparent as possible, by making everything clear. That looks more like a non-turbo exhaust to me. The tailpipe looks cool, but get a Starla turbo muffler on this car stat. The one that\u2019s on there isn't efficient enough for a boosted 900. As far as the open flow K&N filter, there is zero improvement to be had over the stock airbox and scoop. The og scoop looks restrictive but its not, and draws cool dry air from the best place possible on the car. If you drive this car with that air filter on it through a heavy rain, and hit a puddle or hydroplane, the engine will cut out from water getting into the air mass meter. I\u2019m speaking from experience, having this happen in my 88 SPG. Stock box, stock size K&N filter forever. \r\nThis looks like a fantastic car otherwise. The only thing changed has been the muffler and tailpipe, otherwise the original emissions system remain. \nThe minor drip is coming from somewhere between the firewall and back of the engine. It was never posed an issue for me so I haven\u2019t investigated further. \nI imagine it is the seal between the transaxle and block itself, I\u2019ve had seepage there on all of my 900s. \nAs of now the car operate flawlessly, all of the belts are less than two years old, and the battery is new. It\u2019s very likely you would reach your destination without drama. However as with any thirty year old European car there are risks to an adventure like that of course. \nThe handbrake cable is intact, so it likely just needs tightened to provide a snug hold, I just never went through taking the console apart to do it.
