This was my late fathers most favorite car he ever owned (and he owned alot of cars) and i hope it goes to a good home. He also had a 1970 300sel 6.3 and my own personal car is a 190e 2.3-16. Ive tried my best to address any of the 500e \u201cAchilles heels\u201d over the years, such as harnesses, throttle bodies, recapping the ECU\u2019s, NSS, etc etc. The ASR light does come on and it was the last thing i was going to address but never got to it. Does not affect engine performance, just shuts off the traction control. The part of the ABS pump that deals with ASR primes but doesn\u2019t \u201csee\u201d full pressure so it deactivates and triggers the ASR light. I was told that taking apart and cleaning the small mechanism thats under the brake master cylinder will remedy the solution. I will try and add a driving video asap!
