Before inspection, check that the engine oil, starter and\r\nbattery are normal. Also, set the vehicle to the following\r\nconditions:\r\n\u2022 Engine coolant temperature: 80 \u2212 95\u00b0 C (176 \u2212 203\u00b0F)\r\n\u2022 Lights, and all accessories: OFF\r\n\u2022 Transaxle: Neutral\r\n\r\n2. Back to the JASMA thing. Japan Automotive Sports Muffler Association...it's gotta meet a number of requirements to be in compliance, one of which is noise. Fujitsubo's website has a ton of detail if you want to get into it. \r\n\r\nIt's worth noting this cat-back system utilizes 2 resonators and 1 muffler. Nearly every other aftermarket cat-back system for this car only used 1 res, 1 muffler. Also, resonator location is just as important as resonator design; it plays a key role in canceling X frequency at Y RPM. You can't just stick em wherever they fit or make it easiest to manufacture. Factory system also uses 2 resonators. You can bet Fuji did their homework here.\r\n\r\nFujitsubo may get lumped in with a lot of other JDM tuner exhausts on the internet, but this is not accurate. They are on a different level. Yeah, yeah, it's just a muffler, they're not splitting the atom, I get it. I worked in the aftermarket for 10 years, sold their product and everyone elses, helped design and produce our own exhaust stuff, and while they may not generate the hype of whatever boutique brand is most fashionable at the time, as a company Fujitsubo kicks the crap out of any competing product coming out of Japan when you look at all aspects of their operation.
