This one is a unicorn here in 2024. \r\n\r\nFor a sporty-ish car, it was rather odd that VW chose to just do a single instrument pod with only a speedometer and inset fuel gauge. Tribute to the way the Beetle was, I suppose. \r\n\r\nSome of the \"deluxe\" Rabbits got a second dial...a large clock. No tachometer, even as an option, until the GTI finally came to the US. VW was 20 years ahead of the competitors in that matter. But VWs were expensive because of the German exchange rate. This is a lower level trim, oddly coupled to an Automatic transmission. Everything I see tells me this is 27K low mileage collection car, and has been for the last 30 years.
