There is only one torque tube on this car and it is part of the driveline connecting the engine and transaxle. It can only be replaced with a rebuilt unit and replacing the bearings is the main component of the rebuild. It would be a hard line item to overlook on an invoice as the rebuild itself would be in the $700 range and the labour to remove and reinstall is about 10 hours. I see 2 diagonal \"tubes\" on a rear axle diagram. \r\n\r\nThe custom Bilsteins are pressurized to be firm on compression, but to lift slowly so it's comfortable around town, which was a good solution for me.\r\nTheir performance hasn't changed an iota.\r\n\r\nThis work probably isn't part of the central transaxle assembly you're asking about.
