When your trip was done did you follow any process for turbo cooling or was the car put back in the garage (presuming it was garage kept, I didn\u2019t notice that specified).\nDo you know or have receipts of any service having been done to the car since 2004?\nDo all switches work, locks, windows, mirrors, console switches and knobs?\nDoes the heater work? \nI see air conditioning listed, does it blow cold?\nAre any of the vent louvers broken or not move (didn\u2019t notice any in the videos)\nAre any of the door handles loose?\nAre the door panels loose or squeak?\nDo the doors squeak or require extra effort to close?\nDo the windshield wipers work?\nDo the windshield spray nozzles work correctly?\nDoes the antenna move up and down smoothly? \nAre all running lights, headlights and high beams working correctly?\nDo the headlight modules move up and close smoothly?\nIs the ceiling hanging loose at all?\nDoes the hatch back open and close smoothly? On each drive in the last 5 years, I let the car idle for 5-10 minutes before driving.\r\n4. Trips in the last 5 years ranged from very short to 1 hour.\r\n5. Upon completion of each trip, I let the car idle for a few minutes before placing back in the garage.\r\n6. My father kept no maintenance records, so I cannot speak to maintenance prior to 2019. Have someone put a bit of backpressure on the exhaust. The big rubber collar on top of the Y-pipe is part of the air induction system, but if it is loose, ripped or cracked, it can make quite a racket in the area of the turbo. That might be a place to look. It might not be an exhaust leak at all. Dig into RX7Club.com for infinite discussion on turbos.
