The car is definitely sitting low in back, more so on the left side. It's only a slight sag at rest but underway (with weight in the car) it's markedly low. Check the profile against photos of other Mk 2s. They all have rear \"spats\" on them (unless Coombs-modded) and more of the wheel should be visible nonetheless.\r\n\r\nThat said, the rear leaf springs are probably sacked out and they can be re-arced or replaced with new. Beware that new springs usually need to \"bed in,\" and a car with such will ride high for a while until this occurs.\r\n\r\nThe Vortec actually has a pleasing exhaust tone to it!\r\n\r\nTo all the purists out there: This a what I call a \"It is what it is.\" All modifications have been disclosed and require no apologies. Like it? Don't like it?
