Before that, it was old school wash & wax sessions at home by my dad and then me, but I wanted to really dial in the paint after being so impressed with having paint correction and ceramic coating professionally applied to a couple other vehicles I owned. I wanted West Coast Detailing to do it, but he was booked and we were literally about to move down here to San Diego, so he squeezed us in for the work he did, but didn't have a slot in his schedule for the 2-day ceramic coating job. \r\n\r\nThe Ethos brand 5-year ceramic coating was done by Knox Detailing in December 2023 along with the requisite prep work and paint correction; that was a $1,500 investment! And I had Knox Detailing come back out last month to do a little refresh on both interior and exterior that cost $200. Photo # 139 shows the guarantee for the ceramic coating; I paid by check for the work that Knox Detailing did and can provide proof of those payments to any serious bidder who requests it. To geek out a bit, that's pretty cool to me that Toyota provided the hitch ball mount with vehicles outfitted with the receiver hitch! Manufacturers don't seem to do little things like that much anymore. The hitch ball mount has Toyota stamping on it, which is cool, too.
