This car has been a joy to own and gets compliments all around town. It has been a California car (primarily the Central Valley/Foothills) since 1991 per the carfax, and most likely since new but I can't confirm since the carfax only goes back to then. I grew up around G-Bodies. My dad had at least 40 of them in his lifetime so I knew I had to get this one when I saw it. I found this one local to me and it needed a little love. I brought her up to par with all the maintenance listed and fixed some other little issues it had that come with a 37 year old car. I used all AC Delco parts for the tune-up, battery and alternator, K&N air filter, Mobil 1 oil, STP oil filter, and the braking components are from PowerStop. I also put in a new headliner, visors, floor mats, bed mat, and of course the Heartbeat of America plate. Everything else has been untouched. I've been mostly daily driving it since I got it and I haven't had any issues aside from the alternator going out last month (Only work 3 miles from home luckily). I would love to keep this one, but I've decided to build a shop at my house so that the rest of my collection can be indoors. So I'll be using the funds to get that project going. We called it the Conqueest and from one legger burnouts to donuts to towing people behind it on an upside down truck shell over flooded parking lots, it was the perfect high school hooligan ride. In 1991, it was 53,648. I've come up with 2 possibilities. One being that someone swapped out the gauge cluster in 93. If that's the case, after doing calculations, it would have a ballpark of around 120k miles. The other scenario would be that it is the original cluster, and they did indeed drive 65k miles in those 2 years. In that case, then it would have 182k miles.
