Wise enough to know that the car very easily could overpower the skill of the driver and as such must be respected. \r\n\r\nMy experience with more than one Ford GT owner has shown me that many of them have worked extremely hard in life and know not only the value of a hard day's work, but on a societal level they understand the rule of law and respect for law enforcement. They are by and large consummate gentlemen and pillars of family, business, and community. \r\n\r\nTraveling at an elevated rate of speed is one thing, traveling at an elevated rate of speed and in a manner that poses a threat to life and property is quite another. I think the majority of Ford GT owners know and exhibit the difference. There will always be another Corvette, another Ferrari, and another 911. Each one is an incredible automobile, but the Ford GT (of now any iteration) is a special thing indeed. I have gotten a few questions this morning about the paint. The original paint is in great condition. In my ownership since 2007, the car has rarely (maybe twice) been water-washed. My cars are hand-cleaned with Adams Detail Spray (the pink spray) and microfiber towels, almost always by yours-truly. This car has been hand-waxed a few times in my ownership, and never buffed with a machine. The car is always stored inside and has rarely been parked outside in the sun. I did drive it in the rain once, which would account for at least one time the car was wet-washed. The net result of this type of care is that the original paint is beautiful preserved with strong shine and no signs of wear or fading. I don't think there are any scratches or chips in the paint, and the detailed photos should support that. The door sills still have factory plastic on them for protection, so even that area should be without scratches. And another nicety on this one; the fuel fill area under the pop-up cap was wrapped in clear plastic from new, so there is no paint wear or damage from drips from refueling (remember this one next time you get a car wrapped)!
