But for a stocker (or mildly modified), there is not any issues with running the factory Autolube system so that the stock carbs can be jetted right, or run right. If you have trouble with the autolube system fouling the plugs bcuz of too much oil injection... Check that there are not 2 (or more) shims under the oil pump adjuster. Back in '75 when I bought mine I was plagued with plugs fouling. After many months of pulling my hair out just by chance I discovered that there were 2 shims installed from the dealer/factory. They may have done that to facilitate break-in. I wasn't smart enough to measure their thickness with a micrometer and assumed that there was one shim.
