When I pulled in to see the Z, there were two other cars on the show room floor that caught my attention; a 1981 yellow Corvette and a 1981 two tone green Turbo Monte Carlo. I bought the Z28, which I still have, but thought about the Monte Turbo as I knew it was rare. At the time I was driving a 1971 Monte Carlo, Cottonwood Green, which I also still have.\n\nI have told my family that my first new Chevrolet was almost a 3.8 V-6 Turbo with a little bump in the hood.
