The build was done when we were installing the Stryker Street heads and a cam. If you are unfamiliar with Stryker street heads, do a Google search. These are CNC'd heads that are a street version of the race heads used for the Le Mans race cars. They are the best heads you can get and are no longer in production. The cam is on the milder side and will pass a typical 'sniffer' test. There is probably 2500-3000 miles on the build.\r\n\r\nThe wheels were $3800 each and I'm trying to get a receipt from ADV1 to post here. These are the lightest 3-piece wheels that they produce.\r\n\r\nThe nitrous system includes a Promax progressive controller. I'm now recently retired but was in the Viper specialty business for 30 years. I ran DC Performance and Specialty Performance in California.\r\n\r\nI first started working on this car when it came over from EMI Racing, after they did a complete Penske suspension system and setup on the car. The car\r\nhad some undercar damage on the passenger floorboard, but the the frame\r\nwas not effected and the alignment and setup was perfect. It appears the car drove over something.\r\n\r\nOver the next several years, the client had us rebuild the driveline of the car and worked directly with him on the rebuild and tuning of the engine.\r\nWith many years of development on these engines, I can tell you the combination of parts are well proven, make reliable power and the calibration\r\nwas finely tuned on a wheel hub dyno. The system was designed to most likely\r\npass most all tailpipe emissions.\r\n\r\nWhat makes that car special is the attention to detail and love this owner put into the car. He drove it, but never abused it, and always spent whatever it cost to do the job right.\r\n\r\nThe leather wrapped dash, custom wheels (that took a year to make) preparation of the engine, custom suspension and lots of paint correction and\r\npolish made for quite a nice presentation.\r\n\r\nThe car went to Arizona since I've seen it last, the mileage has not changed much. I replaced and repinned all of the wiring from the fan to the relay box. The relays were upgraded at the box but those are now redundant because the actual relays doing the heavy lifting are down at the fan. The fan is an upgraded '98+ unit that flows better than anything aftermarket that we tried. The wiring is all 8-10 gauge. There is also a breaker between the fan and secondary relay box to eliminate any possibility of another issue. But I haven't had an issue since.\r\n\r\nAlso nice to note is. that I re-wrapped the entire engine harness with TESA tape which is a high quality tape that euro car makers use.
